Beautiful Ghanaian screen goddess, Juliet Ibrahim is the cover girl for the september issue of Zen Magazine. In this edition, the beautiful and delectable actress talks about her personal life, controversies and career.

Here’s a note from the editor;

When it comes to being a celebrity, there is no book you can read about how to become a celebrity. It doesn’t matter whether you were born from a poor family or whether your upbringing was rough, if you truly believe you have what it takes to be famous or to be successful, the only thing stopping you is you. Every year, a new celebrity is born out of Africa and over the last decade, we have witnessed so many amazing African celebrities breaking new grounds locally and internationally.

In the movie industry for example, the likes of Chiwetel Ejiofor, Djimon Hounsou, Idris Elba, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Charlize Theron, Thandie Newton are a few names that come to my head when I think of Africans who are breaking new grounds for not only themselves but for others who want to venture into acting and theatre. Born on the 3rd of March 1986, Juliet Ibrahim is a Ghanaian actress who lights up my heart every time I read about her. Juliet made her first film debut in 2007 in the movie “Crime of Christ” alongside Ghanaian actor Majid Michel and was awarded the Face of Ghana Movies in 2011. A few years later, Juliette started her foundation “The Juliet Ibrahim foundation – a non-profit, nonpartisan organization focused on creating awareness on kidney cancer and providing necessary interventions to ensure a society free of such issues in Ghana and Africa at large.”

It is truly a great feeling to have such an inspirational African celebrity on our September cover and this month, Juliette gives Zen an exclusive access into her life, reasons why she started her foundation. We also talk movies, fashion and her beauty secrets. Meanwhile, we have 2 super cool fashion editorials this month from Anita Quansah London and NOMI by Naomi. Next up we have 2 great inspirational interviews from NNEKA and Bisila Bokoko. All that, plus 2 exclusives with African models Daniel Wessels from South Africa and Asalepele Omphile from Botswana. We’ve also been chatting toMiss Norway 2010 winner Melinda V. Elvenes. It’s another great month filled with so many great features, fantastic fashion, inspirational interviews and most importantly, a month filled with love.
